Pengaruh pemberian jenis pakan yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan benih ikan Betok (Anabas testudineus Bloch)
Sari
This study aims to find out what kind of feed is best for the growth of the climbing perch (Anabas testudineus) and the level of efficiency of the feeds. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 3 treatment, Treatment A (feed with earthworms), treatment B (feed with waste rice), treatment C (feed with duckweed). The parameters observed were absolute weight growth, feed conversion, survival rate (SR) and water quality. Results of this study showed that different feed types were highly significant effect (P <0.01) on the climbing perch weight growth and feed conversion values. The absolute weight growth was highest in the treatment A (0.26), followed by treatment B (0.08) and the lowest treatment C (0.12). While the value of feed conversion, earthworms (treatment A) gave the lowest conversion value by 1.57%, followed by waste rice (treatment B) and duckweed (C treatment) of 3.85%, and 2.92% respectively. Fish survival during the study was 100% of each treatment. The observation of water quality were include water temperature ranging between 27-300C, pH 7.3 - 7.6, DO 1.43 - 3.15 mg / L, ammonia 0.00 mg/L and carbon dioxide 1.1 - 1.04 mg/L. The values of water quality were in the range good for the survival and growth of the climbing perch during reared.
